How the Waitlist Works

When events reach capacity, you can join the waitlist for a chance to attend.

When Does Waitlist Activate?

• Event reaches maximum capacity
• Organizer enables waitlist feature
• Typically for popular free events or sold-out paid events

How to Join Waitlist

1. Find an event marked "FULL"
2. Click "Join Waitlist" button
3. Confirmation appears

Waitlist Statuses

WAITING

• You're in queue
• Position tracked in order joined
• No guaranteed spot yet

OFFERED

• A spot became available
• You have a limited time to claim
• Notification sent

PROMOTED

• You claimed your spot
• Status changes to "Going"
• Ticket generated

EXPIRED

• Didn't claim in time
• Spot offered to next person
• Can rejoin waitlist

CANCELLED

• You voluntarily left waitlist
• No penalty

Notifications

You'll receive:

• Email when spot becomes available
• Push notification if enabled
• In-app notification in your dashboard

Claiming a Spot

1. Click notification or check "My Events"
2. Click "Claim Spot" button
3. Confirm attendance
4. Spot is yours

• Join waitlists immediately for popular events
• Enable notifications for faster response
• Check "My Events" regularly
• Only claim spots you can attend
