Understanding RSVP Status

RSVP helps organizers know who's coming and helps you stay committed.

RSVP Options

Going (✅)

• What it means: You plan to attend
• Organizer sees: Accurate headcount for planning
• Your responsibility: Show up or update status

Interested (🤔)

• What it means: You're considering attending
• Organizer sees: Potential interest
• Your responsibility: Update to Going when you decide

Changing Your RSVP

1. Go to the event page
2. Click the RSVP button
3. Select new status
4. Confirmation appears immediately

RSVP Deadlines

• Some events have RSVP deadlines
• After deadline, you may be added to waitlist
• Paid events require payment to confirm RSVP

What Happens After RSVP?

• Event added to "My Events" page
• Receive reminders before the event
• Get check-in information (for Going status)
• Organizer can communicate with you

No-Show Considerations

• Regular no-shows may affect your standing
• Update your RSVP if plans change
• Cancel in advance when possible

Privacy

• Your RSVP status is visible to other attendees
• Only username and profile picture are shown
• Contact info remains private
